What do I gain by working with you instead of arranging it myself?

Get in touch and we'll go through the options with our team. In most cases you end up cheaper thanks to years of experience on the ground in China — a better service, everything automated and a lot of time saved, at the same cost or often less. You focus on growing and scaling your brand while we run the work behind the scenes.

Question 3

Is there a minimum order volume to work with Qlovaro?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the service. For dropshipping and 3PL fulfillment we work from 10 orders a day. For sourcing there's no volume on our side — we simply check the MOQs at the factories that can make your product. And for freight forwarding there are no minimums at all, beyond the rules each shipping line has of its own.

Do I need my own supplier to ship or fulfill through you?

Accepted Answer

No. If you'd rather keep your current supplier that's no problem at all — we then only take over fulfillment and/or shipping. We do recommend letting our team check whether we can find you a better one: the same or better product for a better price or better terms. Comparing costs you nothing.

I already work with China — what can you actually improve?

Accepted Answer

Get in touch, completely free, and we'll look at where improvements can be made: better prices, better agreements, delivery times, your branding experience. There's always room for improvement.

Does it cost anything to talk it through if I don't go ahead?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Ask as much as you like and compare as much as you like — our team will help you either way. If we don't reach an agreement, there are no costs for you.

How long does shipping take, and which countries do you deliver to?

Accepted Answer

We deliver to more than 100 countries worldwide, through hundreds of shipping lines. Transit times depend entirely on your lane and destination, so get in touch for the current numbers on your route — you'll get the real transit time with your quote instead of a brochure average.

Which products can and can't you ship?

Accepted Answer

We ship all legal, permitted goods, and we have lines for cargo a lot of forwarders turn away, like batteries and cosmetics. What we don't move: genuinely prohibited goods such as weapons, drugs, counterfeits and protected wildlife — and we don't ship or produce other people's brands. Not sure where your product falls? Ask before you order and we check the rules for your destination.

Can I ship goods from my own supplier through you?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We collect from any supplier in China, inspect the goods when they land at our warehouse and move them onwards under your name — the factory never has to deal with your customer or your freight.

Do I need a full container (FCL), or is LCL possible?

Accepted Answer

Both are possible. With LCL (Less than Container Load), your cargo shares container space with other shipments — you only pay for the space you use. FCL (Full Container Load) gives you a dedicated container, which is usually more cost-effective if your shipment is big enough.

Do you consolidate shipments from multiple suppliers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We collect your goods from anywhere in China — no matter how many suppliers. We run an extra quality check when everything arrives at our warehouse, and combine it all into one shipment, packed for the lowest possible chargeable weight for you.

Do you check quality before anything ships?

Accepted Answer

Always. Goods are inspected at our warehouse in China before they ship — appearance, quantity, functionality and packaging. Catching a problem at the source costs a fraction of dealing with it after your customer opens the box.

Is my cargo insured during transit?

Accepted Answer

Every shipment can be fully covered with cargo insurance, typically at a small percentage of the shipment value. We always recommend insurance for high-value cargo — and if anything does go wrong, we handle the entire claims process for you, from documentation to payout.

What is chargeable weight and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Carriers charge based on whichever is higher: the actual weight or the volumetric weight of your shipment. Volumetric weight is calculated from your cargo's dimensions, following each shipping line's own formula — we always calculate this upfront, so you know your exact costs before booking.

How do you handle returns?

Accepted Answer

Returns can come back to our warehouse in China. Get in touch with our team whenever you need one and we'll go through the options together to find what works best for that product and that customer.

Will my customers know the goods come from China if I sell D2C?

Accepted Answer

Only if you want them to. Parcels leave in your packaging, with your labels and your inserts, and shipped DDP they arrive like a domestic delivery — no customs bill at the door and no factory or Qlovaro name anywhere on the box. Where the destination allows it you get two tracking links: the full China-to-door tracking for you, and a local last-mile tracking for your customer.

What does shipping from China cost?

There's no fixed price list — rates depend on the lane, the weight, the volume and how fast you need it. We check the real rates on the day you ask and quote you the prices of every available shipping line, so you can compare instead of guess. Quoting is free and there's no obligation.

Question 18

Why do rates change so often?

Accepted Answer

Freight prices from China move constantly with fuel costs, carrier capacity and the season — the weeks before Chinese New Year and Q4 peak are the classic examples. That's why we never quote from an old sheet: every quote is checked against today's rates before it reaches you.

Are there hidden costs that turn up later, outside your invoices?

Accepted Answer

No. A quote lists everything we know about: freight, handling, export papers, customs and last-mile delivery. Ship DDP and import duties are settled upfront too, so nothing lands on your doormat afterwards. Our own costs are in there as well — no percentages billed to you afterwards, everything sits inside the prices you already agreed. And if something genuinely can't be known in advance, we say so instead of leaving it out.

How does payment work — do I have to wire money to China myself?

You deal with us, not with a list of Chinese bank accounts. You get one invoice from Qlovaro, payable through a range of payment methods and usually in your own local currency, and we settle with the factories, warehouses and carriers locally — one party to pay, one place where all the paperwork lives.

Does a quote cost anything if I decide not to go ahead?

No. Quotes, cost checks and the advice that comes with them are free and non-binding. Compare our numbers with what you pay today and only come back if it's actually better.

My China side is already running — can you check where costs can come down?

Accepted Answer

That's most of the job. Consolidating suppliers into one shipment, packing for the lowest chargeable weight, picking the right lane and negotiating face to face with factories usually saves more than switching carriers ever will. Show us your current setup and we'll tell you honestly where the margin is hiding.

What's the difference between DDP and DDU?

With DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) we handle everything — shipping, customs clearance and all import duties — so your cargo arrives with no extra costs. With DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) it's delivered to your door, but duties and taxes are billed to you locally.

Do you handle customs clearance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on both sides. We manage export clearance in China and import clearance at destination, including all documentation, HS codes and duty calculations. Our team knows the requirements for every major market, so your cargo clears smoothly without delays or unexpected costs.

Can my customers get surprise customs bills?

Accepted Answer

Not if we ship DDP — then all duties are settled upfront and the parcel arrives like a domestic delivery. That's what we recommend for e-commerce orders: no surprises at the door means no angry customers and no refused parcels.

Which documents do I need for my shipments?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you're shipping, so we go through it together. Especially when the goods are sourced through us there's usually (next to) nothing for you to supply — we arrange the paperwork ourselves.

Can you ship with my own branding and packaging?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You store your packaging in our warehouses in Guangzhou and Foshan, and we make sure every order goes out in your own branding and packing, straight to your customer — as if you shipped it yourself.

What exactly can I customise?

Accepted Answer

Everything the customer touches: the outer box or mailer, the filler, the tape, the labels, inserts and the packing slip. Nothing in the parcel says Qlovaro unless you want it to.

Can you help with private label and custom-made products?

Yes. We find factories that can build to your spec, get samples in your hands first and inspect the first production run before it ships — your logo, your materials, your finish. Have an idea rather than a product? We help you turn it into a real one.

Can you produce the packaging too, or do I have to source it myself?

We can arrange it. We work with fixed suppliers we've used for years — the same ones producing packaging for global brands that work with Qlovaro. Whatever you need, we can help you make it.

Will branding my products slow my shipping times down?

Accepted Answer

No. Your packaging is already sitting on our floor before the orders come in, so branded picking and packing runs in exactly the same cycle as anything else — same cut-off, same dispatch, same transit time.
